Senior Models Wanted

Would you like to be photographed at one of the most “talked about” studios for senior portraits, have a fun session with an award winning photographer and get incredible photos FOR FREE? 

We’re looking for a handful of 2008 seniors to be photographed as samples of our fun and exciting senior portraits.  Are you one of them? 

In the past, we have always used sample photographs from the previous year’s students to showcase our unique styles of senior photography.  But this year, our backgrounds and sets are so new and innovative, we’ve made up our mind that we wanted to use students from the actual graduating class of 2008 to model our photography. 

Using real 2008 class members in our photographic samples brings far more instant recognition and credibility with the rest of the class.  Our goal is to find a few outstanding individuals from each area high school to help spread the word to 2008 graduates that Chris Walter Photography is the only place to take senior portraits.

We’ve created this promotion in the hopes of sparking the interest of a few outstanding individuals from your graduating class.  These students will be photographed at our studio in Atascocita during the months of September and October 2007.  The resulting portraits will be used in our local mall ads, brochures, website, magazine ads and in the studio on our walls to advertise our services to your senior class – we’re just waiting for your pictures to be included.  We’ve found that if we can show beautiful samples of our senior portraits using recognizable faces, then others from your class may be more apt to use our services too.  Sounds logical, right?  That’s what we thought.  So for your help, and letting us use your face, we’re going to give you some free stuff.

♦      You will get a one hour portrait session which includes two outfits and a cap and gown session (up to an $85 value)

First and foremost, we are looking for responsible, outgoing and FUN individuals -  Male and Female.  We need about a half dozen 2008 seniors from each area high school.  And this is probably the biggest catch of all – you absolutely MUST be in the graduating class of 2008 – there is no exception to this rule.  You must bring your student ID with you to qualify.

We want those of you that participate in school activities such as drama, band, cheerleading, sports, clubs, and drill team – as these students have proven to us in the past to be the MOST OUTGOING (outgoing is truly what we want).  But, even if you’re not particularly involved in these activities, there’s no reason you couldn’t do this.  Why not give it a try?  It’ll be lots of fun, and you will get some incredible photographs out of the deal.

Q:       What will my session be like?

A:        In one word, FUN!  You might be a little nervous when you first arrive for your session, but Chris and Linda know how to make even the most camera-shy person feel comfortable!

Q:       What kind of clothes do I bring?

A:        You will be photographed in two outfits.  Bring a few things ranging from jeans and shirts, skirts, sweaters, letter jackets, hats, sporting uniforms and props like bats, balls, cheer equipment, musical instruments etc.  If you can’t decide what looks the best, bring a few extra things and we’ll help you decide what would look best with our backgrounds.  Girls: bring a pair of short shorts so you can slip them on under the cap and gown for a “special shot”.  For sure, bring something black (shirt, dress, skirt, leather jacket) and a few solid colored tops.  Tip: Sweaters photograph really well and look great with a coordinating winter scarf/hat.  Stay away from stripes, plaids and prints!

Q:       Can I bring someone to watch?

A:        Absolutely!  You can have a parent, friend, brother or sister come into the camera room and watch your session.  You’ll be more relaxed and they’ll help make sure everything is perfect.  They may even be able to look in the camera to see exactly what the picture will look like!  Just please don’t bring young children, friends or anyone that will try to distract you from taking great pictures.

Q:       I’m not sure I want to take my senior pictures so early in the year.  What if I look totally different by the spring?

A:        Not a problem!  Every senior model will be eligible to come back to the studio for a quick one outfit 20 minute session absolutely FREE.  These extra FREE sessions can be scheduled from January 15 thru March 15, 2008 only.

Q:       When will my pictures be ready to see?

A:        FAST!  We will set an appointment for the following week after your portrait session for you and your parents to come in and view your pictures.  Remember, these are your senior portraits!  Any portraits your parents would like to order should be placed at this time.  The special Senior Model Pricing is available only thru November 30.  Any orders for senior model portraits placed after November 30 will be charged at the regular senior pricing.  Once your order is finalized, you can expect to receive your photographs in about 3 weeks.

Our website is being viewed by thousands of area high school students, not just seniors.  We are looking to photograph about 40 students (7-10 from each high school), so space will be on a first come, first served basis and competition will be fierce for the few spots we have open.  This is your opportunity to get a totally free, fun portrait session at the coolest portrait studio in town – Chris Walter Photography.  For those of you that aren’t chosen for our Model Search, we will give you a coupon for discounts on portrait sessions and pictures if you choose to have your senior pictures made at our studio at a later time.
